Wettermäßig geht es immer noch rund hier. Mal ist die Sonne hinter Rauchwolken aus Australien versteckt (die Asche, die hier herabfällt, gelingt nun schon teilweise ins Trinkwasser), mal kann man vor lauter Wind nicht stehen. Die Einheimischen sind sich einig: Es ist zu kalt für Sommer. Sie haben damit leider Recht.

Weatherwise this trip still is quite hard on us. The prevailing strong winds blow ash from Australia to NZ, thus polluting the drinking water in some places. It also makes standing upright difficult. The locals find it too cold for summer. I agree with them!
