I proudly present the newly refurbished midge nets. No, I am not interested in the opinion of those among my friends, who work as designers. I followed the basic principle of form follows function, the rest was freestyle 🙂

I want to say thank you very much to all those, who have helped me – willy nilly – with the construction:
Tobi, my faithful flatmate for support, ideas and tools
Franz, whose tools I also used without him knowing
Audrey, who donated the Gerber multi tool
Dave, who added the missing bit of gear and the necessary hints: duct tape and two sided tape 🙂

Stolz präsentiere ich die Midge-Netze Version 2.0. Meine lieben Produktdesigner am anderen Ende – bitte Behälter Eure Meinung für euch. Ich habe das Prinzip „Form follows function“ zumindest beibehalten – irgendwie. Der Rest war spontane Eingebung.

Danken möchte ich allen, ohne deren Hilfe das Endprodukt nicht existieren würde:
Allen voran Toni, mein zuverlässiger Mitbewohner. Ohne deine Ideen, deine Geduld und Bereitschaft, alles stehen und liegen zulassen, wenn ich vor deinem Zimmer anfange, mit der Kreissäge zu hantieren, wäre es nicht ansatzweise geworden
Franz, dessen Werkzeug auch ohne sein Wissen beigetragen hat
Audrey, deren Multitool den Ausschlag unterwegs gegeben hat
Dave, der mit doppelseitigem Klebeband und Gaffertape die entscheidende Wende eingeleitet hat.
