Aonach Eagach – summer in Scotland 18 Dienstag Aug 2015 Posted by petraundderwolf in Schottland ≈ Leave a comment In the morning Quick and steep descent up onto the ridge The sisters of Glencoe looking nice from higher up This will be the ridge – lots of gullies, pinnacles and ridges to manage The glaswegian taxi driver and his mate – joyful at the first munro of the day Some bits were steeper But the rope was just for practising Ross pracising guiding Dave being brave on the knife edge – the 1 m knife edge, but nevertheless It was steep in places But also beautiful and incredibly hot too hot for my taste Ben Nevis looking out of its customary cloud cover the second cairn Having managed the worst – the descent Heading towards the ski centre The bad weather looming somewhere further south What a place to live in (don’t fancy the dixie-loo though – not in the picture) Clean, fed and a good view – anything else needed?
